to learn vocabulary on their own, with billing handled through the App Store, Google Play
Store, or Stripe.
If you are a school, district, teacher, or student using WordFlow through an agreement with
your school or district, this policy does not apply to you. Your use of WordFlow is governed
by our separate school privacy policy, which is designed to comply with FERPA, COPPA, and

1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing WordFlow. Your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how
Moonslide Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal information when you
use the consumer version of WordFlow (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the
collection, use, and sharing of your personal information as described here.
2. Information We Collect
- Personal Data: We collect your name, general location, and email address
for customer support, billing, and service delivery.
- Email Communications: When you register and agree to our Terms of Service
and this Privacy Policy, you are subscribed to our newsletter and promotional emails. You
can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us
directly.
- App Usage: We track which books you read, the words you study, how often
you log in, and similar usage information so we can deliver a personalized learning
experience.
- IP Address: We collect your IP address for security and to infer your

- Billing and Payments: To manage your payments through Stripe or through
Apple/Google when you subscribe via their stores.

- Stripe: WordFlow uses Stripe for payments made outside the App Store or
Google Play Store. Moonslide Inc. does not store or access credit card information. We
link the Stripe customer account to your user ID for billing purposes only.
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store: When you subscribe through one of
these stores, your payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy
policies.
- Analytics Platforms: We share basic, mostly aggregated usage data with
analytics providers to understand how the Service is used and how to improve it.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies for login and session management. We may also use cookies to measure the
effectiveness of our marketing.
6. Data Storage and Security
Moonslide Inc. does not store credit card or payment data. User data is hosted by cloud
providers including Amazon Web Services and DigitalOcean. We follow NIST standards to
secure our data.

8. Children's Privacy
The consumer version of WordFlow is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended
for their use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through
the consumer Service. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it
promptly.
Children under 13 should only use WordFlow through a school or district that has entered
into a school agreement with Moonslide Inc., which provides the parental-consent and
FERPA/COPPA protections required for educational use. See the

9. International Users
The Service is available to users inside and outside the United States. Your information may
be transferred to and processed in the United States. We work to comply with applicable laws
including the GDPR and CCPA.
10. Data Breach Protocols
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, Moonslide Inc. will notify
affected users within the timeframe required by applicable law and will describe what was
affected and what we are doing in response. We limit the personal data we collect to reduce
exposure.
